About Me
Although I work in many different mediums, pen and ink with watercolor is by far my favorite. Ever
since I received my very first pen and ink set , I have been awed by the amount of detail that can be
attained with it and have studied it for years.
My love of animals drives my passion for my art. I have been drawing and painting animals for over
17 years, commissions for 12 years. I have illustrated for horse clubs, sports teams and designed
t-shirts.
I have owned, trained, and shown horses for decades and have owned many pets from cats to
goats and lizards. I believe that studying my pets and horses have taught me much about their
anatomy and emotional expressions. These "lessons" were priceless in learning portraiture and
illustration.
